These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the CDIC website, mobile applications, online services, membership systems, investor services, ambassador programs, communication tools, and any related digital services operated by CDIC.

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the CDIC website, mobile applications, online services, membership systems, investor services, ambassador programs, communication tools, and any related digital services operated by CDIC.

2. About CDIC
The Cameroonian Diaspora Investment Council (CDIC) is a development-oriented organization established to promote diaspora engagement, investment facilitation, entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, and sustainable development initiatives in Cameroon.
The platform serves as an information, networking, coordination, and facilitation tool for members, investors, partners, ambassadors, and stakeholders.
3. Eligibility
Users must:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Possess legal capacity to enter into agreements
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
CDIC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
4. User Accounts
Users may create accounts to access certain services. Users are responsible for:
- Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
- Ensuring information remains accurate and updated
- Preventing unauthorized access to their accounts
Users remain responsible for all activities conducted under their accounts.
5. Membership
CDIC may offer membership programs subject to eligibility requirements and membership fees. Membership does not create ownership rights in CDIC and may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms.
Membership fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by CDIC.
6. Investor Services
CDIC may facilitate access to investment opportunities, project information, and stakeholder connections. Users acknowledge that:
- CDIC does not guarantee investment returns
- Investment decisions remain solely the responsibility of the investor
- Information provided is for informational purposes
- Investors should conduct independent due diligence before making financial commitments
7. Ambassador Program
Individuals applying to serve as CDIC Ambassadors must provide accurate information and comply with CDIC policies and ethical standards.
CDIC reserves the right to appoint, suspend, or remove ambassadors at its discretion where necessary to protect the integrity and reputation of the organization.
8. Acceptable Use
Users shall not:
- Engage in unlawful activities
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Harass or intimidate other users
- Submit false information
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Violation of acceptable use policies may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform, including logos, trademarks, graphics, documents, publications, software, text, and photographs, remain the property of CDIC or its respective owners.
No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written authorization from CDIC.
10. Third-Party Services
The platform may contain links to third-party websites, service providers, payment processors, or external resources.
CDIC is not responsible for the content, policies, or actions of third-party services. Users access third-party services at their own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CDIC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Business interruption
- Loss of profits
- Loss of data
- Investment losses
- Delays caused by third parties
Users assume responsibility for decisions made using information obtained through the platform.
12. Disclaimer
The platform and all services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. CDIC does not warrant uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, or error-free operation.
Reasonable efforts shall be made to maintain reliable services, but CDIC cannot guarantee continuous availability.
13. Termination
CDIC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where:
- These Terms are violated
- Fraudulent conduct is detected
- Activities threaten platform security or reputation
Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the platform, its users, or the organization.
14. Changes to Terms
CDIC may amend these Terms periodically. Updated versions shall be published on the platform and become effective upon publication.
Continued use of the platform following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws of the Republic of Cameroon, while respecting internationally recognized principles relating to data protection, electronic transactions, and online services.
