Membership Levels
CDIC offers six membership levels designed to accommodate every type of Cameroonian diaspora member. Each level comes with specific rights, benefits and responsibilities.
Founding Member
Individuals who participated in the establishment of CDIC and signed the founding charter. These are the pillars of our organization.
Ordinary Member
Cameroonian nationals residing abroad or at home who have applied and been admitted in accordance with the CDIC Constitution.
Associate Member
Non-Cameroonian individuals, organizations or institutions that share CDIC’s values and objectives and wish to support our mission.
Corporate Member
Companies, businesses or investment entities admitted for advancing CDIC’s investment objectives. Represented by a designated individual.
Honorary Member
Distinguished individuals conferred membership in recognition of outstanding contributions to the development of Cameroon or the objectives of CDIC.
Youth Member
Cameroonian nationals between 18 and 35 years old admitted to encourage youth participation in diaspora development initiatives.

Membership Review & Approval
CDIC is committed to maintaining a trusted and professional community. All membership applications are reviewed to ensure alignment with the values and objectives of the organization. Submission of an application and membership contribution does not automatically confer membership. Applications are subject to review and approval by the Membership Committee. Successful applicants will receive an official confirmation, membership number, and digital membership card.

Applicants may be asked to provide a valid identification document and any additional information necessary to verify their application and membership category.
What benefits do members receive?

How long does the application process take?
Applications are normally reviewed within a few business days. Applicants will receive an email notification once the review process has been completed.
Can I contribute even if I am not an investor?
Absolutely. CDIC values not only financial investment but also knowledge, expertise, mentorship, volunteerism, partnerships, advocacy, and community engagement. Every member has something valuable to contribute.
