Our Zero-Tolerance Commitment

CDIC is committed to creating safe environments for children, youth, and vulnerable individuals who may participate in or benefit from our programs, projects, events, and initiatives.

We maintain a zero-tolerance approach toward abuse, exploitation, neglect, harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct.

Our Commitment

CDIC is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safeguarding in all its programs, partnerships, and engagements. In fulfilling this commitment, CDIC will:

Promote the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable persons
Prevent abuse, exploitation, and harmful practices
Encourage responsible conduct by staff, volunteers, ambassadors, and partners
Investigate safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately
Cooperate with relevant authorities where required

Expected Conduct

All individuals representing CDIC — including staff, volunteers, ambassadors, partners, and contractors — must adhere to the following standards of conduct:

Treat children and vulnerable persons with dignity and respect
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times
Report safeguarding concerns immediately upon becoming aware of them
Comply with applicable safeguarding standards and procedures

Reporting Concerns

Any individual who becomes aware of suspected abuse, exploitation, or misconduct involving children or vulnerable persons is encouraged to report the matter through designated reporting channels.

CDIC will treat all reports seriously and confidentially. The safety and welfare of beneficiaries remain a core priority of our organization.
