Due Diligence Framework

Promoting Transparency, Trust, and Responsible Engagement

At the Cameroonian Diaspora Investment Council (CDIC), we recognize that trust is essential when connecting investors, project developers, service providers, development partners, and communities. To promote confidence and responsible decision-making, CDIC has established a Due Diligence Framework designed to support the review and verification of information submitted through our platform.

While CDIC is not a financial institution and does not guarantee investments or project outcomes, we strive to encourage transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct among all participants.

CDIC’s due diligence process is a shared effort. Both investors and project developers play an important role in maintaining trust and integrity on the platform.

Investor Responsibility

CDIC encourages all investors to conduct their own independent due diligence before making any investment decision.

CDIC’s review process should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, technical, or investment advice.

Investors remain solely responsible for evaluating risks and making their own decisions.

Always seek independent professional advice before committing to any investment.

Project Developer Responsibility

Project developers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to CDIC is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in suspension, removal from the platform, or referral to the appropriate authorities where necessary.

Submitting false or misleading information is a serious breach of CDIC’s terms and may result in removal from the platform.

Continuous Monitoring

CDIC reserves the right to request updated information, conduct periodic reviews, or modify verification statuses where circumstances change or new information becomes available. This ensures that information on the platform remains current, accurate, and trustworthy.

Commitment to Trust & Integrity
