This document sets out the Investor Disclaimer, Anti-Fraud Policy, and Ethics and Integrity standards that govern all investment-related activities, relationships, and conduct within the Cameroonian Diaspora Investment Council (CDIC).

1. Investor Disclaimer
CDIC provides information, coordination, networking, facilitation, and support services to diaspora investors. In providing these services, CDIC does not guarantee any of the following:
Investment Returns
CDIC makes no representation or warranty regarding the returns that may be achieved on any investment facilitated through its platform.
Profitability
CDIC does not guarantee that any investment opportunity presented through its platform will be profitable or free from loss.
Market Performance
CDIC does not warrant any particular market performance or that market conditions will be favorable to any investment activity.
Project Success
CDIC does not guarantee the success, completion, or outcome of any investment project presented to or facilitated for investors.
All investment decisions remain the sole responsibility of the investor. Investors are strongly encouraged to conduct independent due diligence and seek professional legal, tax, accounting, and financial advice before making any investment decisions.
2. Anti-Fraud Policy
CDIC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of fraudulent and unethical conduct. The following are absolutely prohibited within CDIC and all activities conducted under its name:
Any suspected fraudulent activity shall be investigated by CDIC and may be reported to the competent legal authorities. CDIC cooperates fully with all relevant law enforcement bodies.
3. Ethics and Integrity
CDIC is committed to conducting all of its activities to the highest ethical standards. The following core principles guide every aspect of CDIC’s operations:

Open and honest communication in all organizational activities, decisions and financial matters.
Accountability
Taking full responsibility for decisions, actions and their consequences at every level of the organization.
Responsible Governance
Upholding sound governance principles and maintaining institutional integrity at all times.
Fairness
Treating all members, investors, partners and stakeholders equitably and without discrimination.
Professionalism
Maintaining high professional standards in all interactions, communications and organizational conduct.
All staff, ambassadors, consultants, volunteers, and members of CDIC are expected to adhere to these ethical principles in all activities conducted on behalf of or in connection with CDIC.
4. Reporting Misconduct
CDIC encourages all individuals to report suspected misconduct, fraud, ethical violations or policy breaches. Any individual — whether a member, investor, ambassador, partner or member of the public — may report suspected misconduct through the following channel:

Submit your report directly and confidentially to the CDIC Ethics team:
ethics@cdic-cameroon.orgAll reports submitted to CDIC shall be handled with strict confidentiality and reviewed appropriately by the relevant internal authority. CDIC does not tolerate retaliation against individuals who report misconduct in good faith.
5. Conflict of Interest
Individuals acting on behalf of CDIC — including staff, ambassadors, consultants, board members and volunteers — shall disclose any personal, financial, or professional interests that could influence or be perceived to influence their decision-making.
Failure to disclose conflicts of interest may result in disciplinary action, including suspension, removal from position, or termination of relationship with CDIC.
6. Compliance
CDIC reserves the right to take any or all of the following actions against individuals or organizations that violate these policies:
Suspend Platform Access
Temporarily or permanently restrict access to CDIC’s digital platform and services.
Terminate Memberships
Cancel active memberships with immediate effect and without refund where violations are confirmed.
Remove Ambassadors
Revoke ambassador appointments and official CDIC representative status.
Discontinue Relationships
End all formal relationships with individuals or organizations found to be in violation of CDIC policies.
